Products Description
Bonnet castings are an important part of the valve and are usually used to seal the on/off part of the valve. Bonnet castings are usually made of materials such as cast iron, cast steel or stainless steel, which have good corrosion and wear resistance. Their design and manufacturing quality directly affect the service life and performance of the valve. The process of bonnet castings includes several steps such as modeling, sand making, melting and pouring, cooling and solidifying, cleaning and shaping. Choosing the right material and process is crucial to ensure the quality of bonnet castings. In the valve industry, the quality of bonnet castings is required to be high, so manufacturers usually control the production process strictly to meet the relevant standards and requirements.
Cast steel is currently one of the most widely used valve body bonnet material, it has good strength and wear resistance, to meet the requirements of a variety of working conditions. Cast steel valve body bonnet is usually sand casting or precision casting process. The main models of cast steel valves are ZG230-450, ZG1Cr18Ni9Ti, ZG1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti and so on. Stainless steel valve body bonnet has excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for high temperature and high pressure and strong corrosive media. It also has good wear resistance and long service life. Commonly used stainless steel materials mainly include 304, 316, 321 and so on.
Copper alloy valve body valve cover in the corrosion resistance, thermal and electrical conductivity has excellent performance, suitable for chemical and electric power and other fields. At present, the more widely used copper alloys are copper-aluminum alloy, seawater brass, phosphor bronze and so on.
