Casting Housing

A Casting Housing, in the context of manufacturing and casting processes, refers to a component made through the green sand casting or gravity casting process.  

Green Sand Casting:

Green sand casting is a traditional and widely used casting process where a mixture of sand, clay, and water is packed around a pattern to form a mold. The molten metal is then poured into the mold, and once it solidifies, the mold is broken to retrieve the cast part.

Gravity Casting:

Gravity casting, also known as permanent mold casting, is a process where molten metal is poured into a metal mold using the force of gravity. This method is suitable for metals like aluminum and is known for producing parts with good surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
